Wherever he goes Francis attempts to capture the season and atmosphere of each place.

Following a long tradition of bird's-eye panoramas stretching back to the sixteenth century, Francis tries to embrace more than can be seen from a single viewpoint, pulling and bending the landscape to reveal a broader vision filled with incident.

Francis shows his love of architecture and buildings, gardens, people, birds and beasts in both urban and rural contexts and is pleased to accept commissions to paint houses, favourite views and places, in either oils or watercolour.

Francis' original work is shown regularly in galleries in London and various art fairs. He publishes a range of signed Limited Edition Giclee Prints and his Greetings Cards are published by Woodmansterne Publications and Towell and Scott. They are available from good retailers throughout the UK.
